Tickle Monster

I started to read Brody books as soon as I brought him home from the hospital. I want him to have a LOVE of reading the way I do. He stares at the pictures and sometimes does his high pitch squeel of excitement. He seems to be enjoying our time together doing this, and I especially love the chance to snuggle him on my lap and sneek kisses!

Jazz Game

My so beautiful of a friend Ashley(single by the way, if anyone knows someone darling, hint hint) took me to the Jazz Game on Saturday night. She always spoils me. It was such a blast!!!! I was shocked by our seats, we flippin sat on the first row behind the hoop. Awesome!!!! I don't really understand basketball or usually really watch it for that matter, but when you sit that close it suddenly becomes interesting.

Thanks Ash!!!! It was sooooooooo fun!

Also, when you sit this close you get to see how ginormous these guys really are.

The other day Brody and I played airplane, read books, and played with his trucks. Then I needed to get my kitchen clean, so I put him in his jumperoo and he bounced happily as I walked to the kitchen. I started going through my spices to see which had expired and needed to be thrown away. After about 10 minutes of cleaning I noticed that I didn't hear Brody jumping. I looked up and saw him head down and fast asleep. He had never done it before, he usually starts to cry when he is tired and ready for a nap. I started laughing, and could barely get a good picture, my camera was shaking. It was seriously the cutest thing I had ever seen.

Nerdiness in a Nutshell

I am going to apologize ahead of time

for those of you that have these on the back of their cars. I hate pulling up behind a car that has the Family sticker on the back of their car. For some reason it makes me a bit weirded out that people like to display for the world, how many children they have and how many animals are in the fam. Nerdy!!!! And you don't just see the family always represented by little people stickers, sometimes its flip flops, flowers, turtles, or my best, skulls. I love pointing them out to Austin and my family and telling them how much I dislike them. I was driving on bangeter the other day behind a huge freakin van with stickers of 2 parents and 15 children, and of course the 3 dogs and 2 cats.

People, really?

So for Christmas my brother and sister in law thought it would be a great gift to get me my very own family sticker. yay!!!! They kept telling me christmas morning how awesome my gift was and how much I have always wanted it for my car. For the life of me I couldn't think of something that I wanted for my car. So they had me go outside and check my car out to see if I saw something different on it, as soon as I turned the corner to the back I yelled "NO! I hate those!" They all started to laugh because they thought I would at least try to be nice about it. ( I am not one to hurt feelings, I would usually just go along with something even if I am not feelin it, just so I won't hurt feelings) but seriously something had to be said, I didn't know if they really thought that I liked those nerdy stickers. I had to make sure they knew that was not staying on my car.

But the funny part is.......it is still there, I haven't taken it off and as I drive my car around I am so embarrassed to have people pull up behind me and see that I have one of the family stickers, with my dead cat and all( see the halo) hahaha

4 months

Today was Brody's 4 month doctor Appointment.

It is always a bittersweet thing for me. I really hate the fact that he is going to get shots, he is going to scream, and I am going to cry. And today was no exception, he SCREAMED so hard that he couldn't breath, and I sat holding him CRYING. I can't handle him being in pain, it really breaks my heart. I feel like he knows that I am the one that handed him over to the needle lady and he doesn't get why I let her hurt him. I would really like to tell Brody that I want to yell at miss needle lady every time we are in there.... Go away mean needle lady!!!! Go away!!!! But I know that he needs the shots to make him healthy, I just really hate watching it.

On a happier note, I do love going so that I can see how much he is growing.

Weight- 17lb. 14oz 93 percentile

Length- 28 inches 100 percentile

Head- 17.3inches 89 percentile

He is such a BIG boy!!!!!
Give him a little Tylenol and he is happy as can be!!!!
