you are 1 month old today
I can't believe how fast the time is going. I feel like yesterday I was praying that you would be born soon, I wanted to hold you so bad and felt like the time was going so slow. Then you were born, and the time won't quit moving faster even with all my requests for it to stop so I can have my baby Brody forever.
I love the way you look around at everything with huge eyes, you are so excited to be seeing the world. You are especially happy to stare at your dad and mom, and we are happy to stare back at you. Even when you are asleep, we can't stop looking at you, I feel amazed that you are our baby and that you are so adorable. Its fun to look at you and find features that look like your dad or like me. I can't wait to see what color your eyes are going to turn.
You are beautiful beyond words. Everyone is always telling us how handsome you are and how they can't believe all that hair. Your full head of hair makes you look more like a little boy then a baby. I think it is one of my favorite things about you. I hope it stays dark like mine. You are so cute!
You are such a good baby right now and seem so content with life. I hope that me and your dad can do our very best to give you everything you need. We try really hard to be your everything, because you have for sure become our obsession in life. The moment you were placed in my arms, I felt overwhelmed by the love that I had for you. Each day that love grows more and more.
You have been doing tummy time for the last couple of weeks so that you will get a strong neck and arms. We try to put you on a blankie for a couple of minutes a few times a day on your tummy. It is really cute to see you pull your head up looking for me and daddy, seeing if one of us is going to pick you up. You grunt and kick your legs getting frustrated that you can't sit your head up for very long. You are getting stronger everyday and are getting to be such a big boy.
We are so so so in love with you Brody! Thank you for being so dang cute and enjoyable to be around. We are really loving being parents to such a good baby. Happy one month!
