Big Boy Undies!

Brody is POTTY TRAINED

We couldn't be happier to say that we only have one child in diapers now! Woot Woot!!!

Brody has been such a big boy, learning how to use the potty. He really likes his Big Boy Undies and likes when elmo talks to him on the potty. After he uses the restroom he gets to watch cartoons for a little bit. And since he would be a couch potato if I let him be, he really likes this reward! We started Monday the 30th, he only had 4 accidents all week. Good Job Brody! To celebrate one week of being potty trained, Austin and I took him to get a toy on Monday.

We told him he could choose 1 toy for doing such a good job on the potty. We get in the store and he kept grabbing trucks and motorcycles,

when I told him, "Brody you only get 1 toy remember",

he says "NO, Brody does a good job, I get all the toys!" haha

He finally decided on these cool motorcycles, and the package came with 3 so he felt pretty good about the choice.

We had planned on taking them outside, but on the day of pictures it was freezing, so we did them inside. I think they turned out pretty darling!

The lack of posts is due to a broken camera since Halloween. So sad about it, but for Christmas My Austin Earl got me a NEW one....yay!

Hopefully I will be getting my photo taking on and be able to post more (for you mom). Promise!

My baby Girl celebrated her 1st Birthday on January 3.

She was so sick with rsv and was not a happy camper, but we tried to make her day special for her none the less.

Brooklyn is walking all about, she is so proud of her self and claps when we tell her Good Job! It is her new favorite thing to do especially because she can chase Brody around the house even better. She is such a happy little girl and loves to give kisses. She snorts when she laughs hard, which makes all of us start laughing...she really is such a joy in our home. What did we do without her? Can't believe she is 1 years old, I guess the saying is true, Time flies when your'e having fun!

WITCHES NIGHT OUT

All the girls got to go to witches night together, FINALLY!!!! Every year we have been missing our Danie and Kayla, they have always been in California, but now that they are living in Utah they were finally able to make our witches night complete.

We had such a fun time! Witches night out has been a tradition in our family for years. I am glad that the little girls were able to go with us this year. It made it all the more enjoyable!

Our little princess girl is 9 months old.

She is teething right now, one on the bottom and two on the top.

She crawls all over the place and pulls herself up on all the furniture.

She cruizes up the stairs but can't quite figure out the going down the stairs yet.

She lets go of us or the furniture and stands by herself for a couple of seconds, she gets very excited about it and squeels, which usually makes her fall on her bum. :)

We are thrilled to have her in our life and couldn't have asked for a sweeter baby girl. Brody is obsessed with his 'sissy' and always wants to play with her.

Austin Earl turned 29 on September 30.

He spent the morning golfing,

then we went to Gardner Village and met up with Jack and Debbie.

Build a Puppy

Austin's parents have the cutest tradition of going to Build a Bear with the Birthday Grandchild that turns 2. It was Brody's turn this year and he was THRILLED!!! He couldn't wait to spend the day with Nana and Papa Jack.

Excitment all over his face, he wasn't even inside yet and he was bouncing up and down.

He picked out the cutest puppy and got to help stuff it and make it come to life.

We took our last camping trip of the season over the weekend. Its probably getting a bit cold to go again. So until next year, good bye summer! We stayed up the Canyon from Grantsville. It was beautiful and some of the trees were starting to change colors

Our campsite was so pretty, right next to a stream. We were a little nervous to have Brody by the water, but he didn't seem to care it was there. Thank goodness...He was more interested in running up and down the trail from the campsite to our trailer.

We love lighting up the campfire at night and making smores, especially if they are made with reeses. yummm!

It rained really hard the first night so we playing in the trailer.

My little guy is 2 years old!

WHAT??? How did that happen.

He is a joy in everyway possible and we celebrated him all day yesterday. He woke up to the house decorated and opened presents, then we had pancakes (his favorite) and played with all his new toys. Then we took him to Farm Country at Thanksgiving Point and played for hours. :) He loves it down there, his very favorite is riding the ponies!!! Of course I didn't get any pictures of that. oops! Having too much fun playing. Then we got ice cream cones at the Soda Fountain. Yummy! We had such a fun day. I seriously can't believe how much he has grown and how smart he is getting, 2 is going to be a fun age!

Brody's Birthday Party

We celebrated with all the family last Sunday for Brody's 2nd Birthday. Woody from Toy Story is his favorite, so we did a western themed Woody Party for our little Buckaroo.

We had it at Draper Park so that all the kids could play on the swings and playgrounds. Brody got so many wonderful gifts, he has been playing with them all week long and loves them.

Zoo Days

Last week we got to spend the day at the Zoo. My kids loved all the animals and seeing their cousins. Brody's favorite animal is the 'phants' (elephants) and mine is the Giraffe. So we made sure to see them and spend some time saying hi to them. I haven't seen the bird show since I was little so we went and it was AWESOME! Brody and Brooklyn were very entertained and we almost got hit by birds a few times. It was a great day! I can't wait to go again.

Miss Brooklyn is crawling all over the place. She has been army crawling for the past month, but finally got the real crawling down about a week ago. She is speedy too, I really have to watch her close, she gets over by the stairs in a matter of seconds. Way to go big girl!

We went Camping up at Soldier Creek over the weekend. We use to go up there with our Grandpa alot when we were young and go fishing. So we decided to take our kiddos camping and fishing too. We had such a fun time together eating yummy food and especially loving our new invention of smores, a reeses instead of a piece of chocolate. It's pretty much delicious!!!

I really have been the worst blogger lately. Every day I want to get on and post all about the fun we have been having this summer, but having 2 little kids makes it a bit hard to do anything...much less get on the computer.

Brody is talking up a storm, he repeats everything we say which is so cute and a little scary, I guess that means I need to watch what I say. :) He wants to be outside all day long and doesn't seem to mind that it is blazing hot. He loves swimming so much and has been cruizing around the pool all summer with his lime green floaties on. Such a big boy! His is obsessed with police cars and fire trucks which he calls "we we cutch".

Brooklyn is jibber jabbering, she repeats "da da da" all day. She just starting sitting up like a big girl on Wednesday, she is so proud of herself and squeels with delight. She gets herself up on her hands and knees and rocks. What a big girl she is getting. She loves to eat peas and sweet potatoes and hates rice cereal, even if I mix in her favorites. So funny!

Our girl is 6 months old today.

She is rolling over and trying to figure out how to crawl, she wants to sooo bad, when she see's a toy in front of her she wiggles with all her might to move forward. Soon enough she will master it and be all over the place. I can't believe that my baby is so big.

She is the happiest baby I have ever known, when she wakes up in the morning, I go in to get her and peak my head over the crib she screams and smiles so big it makes me start laughing. All day long she giggles and smiles. She is thrilled to be around her brother.

We took the kiddos and headed to see my brother for his 30th Birthday. Neither one of the kids have been on a plane and since Brody isn't 2 yet we thought we would take advantage of not having to pay for him and take a plane ride. I don't know if that was such a good idea....as soon as we got to the airport we knew it was going to be crazy flying with 2 kids. Brody was running all over and behind the jetblue checkin counter while I was trying to hold Brooklyn and both our carryons...Austin was trying to get our bags and the carseats checked in while I ran after Brody...I am sure people were laughing thinking glad thats not us. I thought as soon as we can get through security and get on the plane I am sure Brody will be good, think again.....our plane was delayed so we had more chasing to do up and down the terminals, if one of us grabbed him and tried to make him sit by us and play with his toys he would scream and yell "done, done, done" People thought we were trying to kipnap the kid I am sure. Finally we got on the plane and there was no empty rows so I asked a guy if we could sit by him and was he ok sitting by kids, he didn't even answer us, he just got up and moved seats....I guess he wasn't really a kid kinda guy. haha Once we sat, Brody was wild as ever and wouldn't sit down, he wanted to bounce on the seats the whole time. All we could do was laugh and keep reminding eachother....lets not do this again.

Brody's little cheeks were as rosy as ever from all the running he had done. :)

As soon as we boarded Austin said "I get Brooklyn" haha I said that was fine because I am sure Brody would fall asleep anyway......... Lucky Dad!

Every now and then he would watch Toy Story, but for the most part he wanted to check everything out and see who was sitting behind and infront of us.

When we got to Cali, the cousins were so glad to see eachother. Sawyer and Brody were inseperable the whole time.

Brooklyn learned how to roll over and really enjoyed showing us all with a Huge smile on her face.

The 2 crazy boys were in everything, but as long as they were having fun and not getting hurt we just laughed and thought boys will be boys.

They rode these all day everyday, it was really cute.

Little Miss is obsessed with sucking her toes, I think it is hilarious so I had to show her off.

We went to the San Diego Zoo one day and it was AMAZING!!! They have very cool animals there, even this turtle that has been alive since 1908.

Brody was obsessed with the "onkeys" These Gorillas were huge and running around, there was probably 5 or 6 and 2 babies that were adorable.

Even Brooklyn liked checkin them out.

There was a huge life size statue of an elephant, so of course the 2 daredevils had to climb up it to show us how strong they are. Wow, good job boys!!!

They have the same bouncer as we do...Brooklyn was in heaven.

Brody turned into a little fish on this trip. He used to be kind of afraid of swimming pools but just watching his cousins jumping in and out of the pool, he decided that looked pretty fun and he would do everything they were doing, even if it scared mom.

Austin got to stay a few days and I stayed almost 2 weeks. He was really jealous of me. :) I loved being in California and seeing my Brother and his family. I miss them already and can't wait to go back and play with them again!!!!

Miss Brooklyn is 4 months old today.

She is holding her head up really well and starting to like tummy time (kinda) it lasts about 5 minutes then she is done. :) She loves holding onto toys, checking them out and tasting them. She is rolling to her sides but hasn't quite mastered getting all the way over.

She went to the doctors today and everything went well,
she is getting so big and is growing like crazy.

Brody loves being right by his sis and wanted to help me take care of her today when I was givng her tylenol to help her feel better from the shots. He was really worried about the bandaids and kept trying to get them off of her. What a good big brother!

I couldn't be happier with my kiddos. I thought 2 kids was going to be crazy and hectic, I was so scared when I found out little Miss was coming into our life. I was so wrong, I couldn't love being a mom to 2 wonderful kids more. It is my greatest blessing!!!!!! Every morning I wake up excited to see their little faces, what a joy they both are to me.

hopped into our house on Sunday morning, he brought us toys, new church clothes and many yummy things for us to snack on.

This little girl is always surrounded by trucks from her brother.

He drives all around her making sure that she can see how cool his toys are.

I don't think she minds it a bit, in fact, I think she loves the attention that Brody gives her.

The louder she squels the faster he drives the cars around her.

Its pretty hysterical to watch.

Brooklyn is also been loving the bouncer. I just put her in it the other day to see what she would think. I always feel bad for her when she is laying on the floor, so now she can sit in her bouncer and watch what we are doing. She doesn't really understand it. She will be sitting still when all of a sudden she moves her foot and it bounces her. She gets all wide eyed and smiles. She doesn't know what just happened, but she likes it.

On Sunday April 10 Brooklyn Rose was Blessed by her Daddy.

It was a beautiful blessing, one that made everyone get a little teared up.

Austin did such an amazing job.

It is so special for me to hear him bless our children, I am greatful that he is able to give them such a gift in their lives.

We had a little brunch at our clubhouse afterward to let our families mingle and eat some delicious food.

Austin's Grandma's are the sweetest women that you can find. We love them to pieces.

My mom threw Chelsea D and me a splended birthday party last Sunday.

Chelsea's Birthday is the 8th and mine is the 21st so its always fun to have a joint party. Especially one that is fit for a queen...we had banners, boas, and even crowns!!! Our cake was delicious and the presents were great.

Our little Brooklyn got her ears pierced on Friday.

She did so so so good. I wanted to get them done while she is young so she wouldn't remember the pain, I've heard it is a bit tramatizing when they get older. She only cried when the needle went in her ear, then she was calm as could be. I was shocked that she did so well. I have quite a brave little girl.

Having you in our life has been such a blessing. You are sweet and lovable beyond words and bring such a great spirit into our home. You love looking at everything and taking in the world around you. You could stare at the lights in our house all day, while you look at them your little legs get kicking and you smile with such excitment. You love to watch what Brody is doing, your eyes wonder around following him as he runs about, soon enough you will be joining him, running and giggling behind him. But for now, please stay little and cuddly for momma to snuggle. We love you little princess and love everything about having a girl, especially one that is as beautiful and sweet as you.

Brody you have turned into such a little boy the last couple of months,

you are into everything and climbing on just about anything.

You are my little buddy who loves to be played with. If I am busy doing dishes or making dinner, I can always count on you to find me and push with all your might against the front of my legs until I will stop what I am doing and hold you. I love that I am special to you, I know that one day you will be grown and not long for the affection that you want now. That is why I always have to remind myself that the house work can wait, you can't, as I have already found out.....time goes by too quickly. My baby is not a baby anymore, you are a big boy and learning so many things everyday. Some of things you love right now are:

-Talking- you have your own little chinese language that you chat all day long. You must say some pretty funny things because you laugh at yourself and think that you are so funny. Some of the words you are good at and we can understand; daddy, mama, ball, shoes, sponge bob, on, more, done, and all the sounds of the letters.

-Shoes- you are always putting mine and daddy's shoes on and walking around the house. You also get into your shoe drawer in your room and get them all out to look at and try on. The first thing you say to anyone that comes up to you is "shooos", it cracks me up every time. :)

-Balls- Anytime you see anything round even if it is an orange, you say "ball" and see if it will bounce. Your basketball is your favorite thing. Last night Daddy put you to bed with it and when I went in to check on you, you were cuddled up to it so tightly with your arm around it. So darling!

-Making messes- You are my little tornado. I don't think you do it on purpose, you are just this little explorer that wants to see and touch and throw everything. I seriously clean up 700 times a day, but you are well worth it.

I love you my little man!!!! Try to not grow so fast.

Yesterday, we took the kiddos to the Dinosaur museum at Thanksgiving Point. We have never taken Brody before and thought he is probably getting old enough to enjoy it. As soon as we got out of the car he looked up at the building with the gigantic dinosaur on it and with the hugest smile he said "Roar."

He loved all the bones everywhere and ran from room to room looking about and pointing at things. It was a fun day for us to see him so excited!

Brody kept trying to get into all the exhibits, he would climb over or under the bars. He especially wanted to check out this shark a little closer for some reason. Austin had to keep a close eye on him so that he could grab him before he bailed over the bar.

He really LOVED the end, where there is this fun sand pit with dinosaur fossils. He was running around with his little brush trying with all his might to get them out of the ground.

He is getting to be such a fun age,

its great to be able to take him places like this and see his reaction.

Brooklyn's bedroom

How fun it has been having a girl so that I can have some pink in our house. I love it! Her bedroom needs a few more pictures and things to spice it up, but it is mostly done.

She is still sleeping in our room, but I think when she makes the move to her own bedroom, she is going to love it.

I put Brody on the couch with a drink and turned the letter factory on this morning. I knew it wouldn't last long (he is in fact extra wild) so I hurried and ran upstairs to grab the vacuum. I was gone probably 1 1/2 minutes, seriously, and this is how I found him when I got back down stairs. I couldn't help but laugh!!! He is such a boy and ALWAYS up to something.

Brooklyn turned 1 month old on the 3rd. I can't believe how fast it goes by. One minute I was waiting for her to get here and then I swear it feels like I blinked my eyes and she is 1 month. She has been such a joy!!! I love all the girliness of her. The pink clothes, the hair bows and the little mini bracelets. I think every mom needs a girl to connect to and spoil rotten. :) We love her so much and can't wait for all the new things to come with a baby girl.

Christmas is always such a beautiful time of year.

We love spending time with family and getting together for all the parties, but mostly we are thankful for the birth of our Savior. We feel blessed to have the knowledge of him and are so greatful for all that he did for us.

On Christmas Eve we were with my family.

We sure missed Ryon and his family though.

With just Josh's family and mine, it feels kinda lonely.

But we sure make the best out of it and had a great time.

Grantsville Christmas

This year in Grantsville all the kids got to act out the nativity.

Even Brody got to be apart of the fun, he was a wiseman.

It was a little hard to keep him in his spot for longer than a half of a second.

My boy is wild and does not like to sit still. :)

He was suppose to bring baby Jesus Gold,

but thought that he might need to try it out...it sure was yummy!

All the kids did so good remembering their lines.
Rylie even played the piano for us while we sang christmas songs in between acts.

Every year the kids go on an elf hunt throughout the house and find a gift at the end. This year we did it with lights off and they all got mini flashlights to help them find their way. It was so darling watching all the kids scamper throughout the house giggling.

Brody got a truck and a fun block toy that he fits puzzle pieces in.

Concert of a lifetime

THE JUDDS

As long as I can remember,

I have been rocking out to the Judds with my mom.

She had them playing all the time, in the car, in the house, and especially on the boat. We use to lounge out on the back of the boat singing "I know where I'm goin...don't you wanna come to..." She went to all their concerts in the 80's and when they did their final concert in 1990,my dad took her so that she could sing her heart out one last time to her beloved Judds.

This year for Christmas I wanted to do something really special for my mom, not just some dumb gift she would forget about in a month. As luck would have it I was watching TV with Austin and saw a commercial for THE JUDDS coming to concert on December 9 for their final encore. I looked at Austin and said I HAVE to take her to that. I got on Saturday morning at 10 am as soon as I could buy them and got the best seats I could. I wasn't really sure where we were sitting because they didn't have a map attatched to look at, but I knew we were on the floor and that was exciting enough.

When we got there we were about 5 minutes late, because of traffic, and when we walked in they were already singing. My mom was so excited to hear them and started to cry as we were walking down the stairs to our seats. :)I handed the lady our tickets and she walked us over to our row.....that was right in front of the walkout part of the stage. WHAT??? We were both freaking out with excitement!!!! My mom about lost it as we sat down. She couldn't quit crying.....her Judds were right in front of her singing her very favorite songs. It was quite the moment to be apart of, to give her a present that she loved so much made me very happy and gave me the feeling that I succeded in giving her a gift that she would never forget.

I had to take a picture of her face. It was priceless. :)

They were so close to us, neither of us have ever sat this close in a concert. It is seriously the BEST way to enjoy it, you feel like they are performing just for you!!!

Even when they went to the back of the stage to perform instead of being out on the walkout ramp, they were still so close.

Wynonna was hilarious and had us cracking up the whole time.

We were in heaven the whole time,

singing our hearts out and rocking to the music.

SO MUCH FUN!!!!

There was a lot of mother daughter groups there enjoying the mother daughter duo.

It was pretty special to be apart of.

I had to add this pictures for my mom, I know she will get a kick out of it. We laughed the whole time at this lady, she was kiddy corner in front of us and would never sit down. She was jammin out and dancing with her glow sticks the ENTIRE time. Poor people behind and next to her. Really she was a crazy pants. haha

LOVED LOVED LOVED every minute of this concert.

They did so good and sang all the greatest songs.
When it was ending there was so many people around us crying, and of course my mom was included. :) I am so happy that she loved it as much as I did.

15 months

Brody had his 15 month check up a week ago.

He is growing great and is really healthy. What a blessing that is. He had to get 3 shots, but did really good, he only cried during it and as soon as he could sit up he just wanted some hugs and loving from mom but was a big boy and quite crying.

Thanksgiving with the Bingham Family

We celebrated Thanksgiving with my family on Sunday this year

so that we could all be with our in laws for the real day.

Ryon and his family even came in town,

which made our celebrating that much more fun!!!

The dinner table is always one of my favorite things to help my mom set.

After our Thanksgiving Dinner we bundled the kids and let them play in the snow.

This was Brody's first experience playing in it and he LOVED it!!!

He kept picking it up and mushing it in his hands,

He even took a couple of nibbles to see if it was tasty. :)

Play time is not just for the kids, the adults wanted in on the fun too!

The next day we got together and went sledding at a park nearby.

After sledding we went back to the house and the boys headed down stairs for some x box playing and the girls made gingerbread houses that Chelsea made for us.

After our houses were all done and looking yummy, my parents gave the kids their presents. Every year at Thanksgiving, the kids get a christmas book from my parents.

He was even so excited that he was bouncing on his chair and fell off. haha

I think this is by far our most special gift from Grandma and Grandpa. It is the night before Christmas book that is read by my parents. Each page we turn, Brody gets so excited to hear their voices. Such a thoughtful and beautiful gift. THANK YOU!!! We will treasure it forever.

The cold months

I can already tell that winter is going to be LONG.

My little man is a totally outdoor lover and little explorer.

The last couple of days have been extra cold, but he goes to the door everyday and knocks on it, turns around and looks at me and says mom!

I tried going out and bundling him in a coat, hat and gloves, but seriously within 10 minutes the herriman wind (that will NEVER stop) had us both freezing with red noses.

So I figure we will be mostly indoor bodies for the winter, hybernating from the freeze. Especially when our new little one gets here, we definetly will not be going out.

But that means one thing.........major messes from Brody Boo. If I do not have him glued to my lap reading, he is about the house exploring every nook and cranny.

Grantsville Halloween Shindig

On Friday October 29, we headed out to Grantsville fot the Allreds Annual Halloween Party. They rent out a bowling ally and everyone brings yummy food and plays the night away. They even have a costume contest and Austin and I are proud to say that we won for the 2nd year in a row. :)

Cookie Night

Last night we had a cookie party.

Chelsea, I and our super cute kiddos :) made some sugar cookies and for the first time tried Royal Icing. They turned out yummy!!! The kids loved rolling out the dough and cutting out the pumpkins. We had so much fun!!!!!

Pumpkin Carving

On Saturday October 23 we had our annual Bingham Pumpkin Carving. We headed down to the Rasmussen Farm in Draper and picked out the perfect pumpkins to carve. It was a rainy day and super cold. I loved it because we were all bundled up in our snuggly warm clothes. We went back to my parents house and had my mom's homemade chili over fritos (Halloween tradition in my family) it was extra yummy. We then ate halloween donuts and then carved the pumpkins. Austin's turned out super spooky, Brody's is super cute and mine is definetly the best. ;) Just Kidding, but really isn't my kitty cute. haha Brody LOVED the gooey insides of the pumpkin and helped Austin and I get it all out of our pumpkins, and put some back in. He is quite the helper. We had such a fun time, like we always do. Halloween is my favorite time of year and I love doing family traditions to make this time of year extra fun.

Disneyland

We went to California with my family at the beginning of October. We took the kiddos to Disneyland and California Adventure Park for 4 days. We all LOVED it!!!

The whole place was decorated for Halloween and all the characters were in costume.

We are on the tram ride from the parking lot to the park.
It rained the first 2 days we were there but it was still really fun.

The decorations everywhere were so stinkin cute.

Brody loves Goofy, he got so excited everytime we saw him. Goofy leaned over to say hi and Brody grabbed his nose and kissed him. SOO CUTE!!!

We went down to the beach one day and they had this cute playset there.

They would do these cute street performances and really fun music, this one was high school musical and Brody danced away and kept clapping his hands. He loves music and gets so excited to see people dancing.

Monsters Inc was one of his favorite rides.

Everything at Disneyland is magical, Brody loved it all.

We can't wait to go back when he gets a little older and take him and Brooklynn.

My all time FAVORITE time of year is here!!!

Their is something magical about the fall to me, I love the crispness in the air and the colorful leafs. Austin took Brody and I for a drive up the Alpine loop on Saturday. It was beautiful!!!!

We looped all the way down to Sundance and took the tram up to the top of the mountain. Brody loved the fresh air and watching all the mountain bikers come down the trails. We got up to the top and hiked over to where Austin proposed to me.

Here Brody and I are sitting right where Austin proposed to me. It was fun going back and seeing it. Fun memories!!! It is crazy how fast time goes, 6 years later and we are with our little man and prego with a 2nd baby.

After we had a walk down memory lane, we headed back down the tram and had a picnic under the trees.

It really was the best day with my little family!! Love you both so very much!

Hogle Zoo

On Saturday September 4 we took our little man to the Zoo to check out all the animals. Austin and I hadn't been to the zoo since we were dating so it was fun to go back now that we have a child to share the excitement with. Brody loved all the monkeys and especially liked the giraffes, he has one in his room that he likes to wave and say hi to every morning, I think he recognized it was the same, he kept waving at them and looking at me smiling. Majority of the animals were sleeping or they could have been dead we weren't quite sure. Poor things are so bored in their 10x10 cages. They have built more and changed alot of the areas since we have been there. It looks really nice.

We had so much fun with Brody! He makes everything extra special.

12 month Visit

Brody's 1st Birthday Party

On the Sunday before Brody's Birthday, we had a Nemo themed party for him. He LOVED it!!! There was yummy food, a water slide, lots of balloons and family that adores him. He got spoiled with fun gifts by everyone, he had a hard time opening all his presents, once we opened one he wanted to play with it and didn't get why I would put it aside and have him open another present. haha It was pretty funny, but he loved everything he got and has been having so much fun playing with all of it all week.

His aunt Chelsea made the cutest Nemo cake just for him and then made cupcakes with nemo on the top for everyone else. She was so sweet to make this for his party, she is quite the talented lady. :) Brody ran around and giggled all day, he splashed in the water and kept trying to climb up the back of the slide to go down all by himself, he wasn't scared a bit. What a big boy!!!

It took him a minute to figure out what he was suppose to do with this bright colored thing in front of him, but as soon as I helped him with his first bite and he realized it was something yummy, he dug in and destroyed the whole thing. YUM!!!!!

Our Darling Mr. Brody Boo is 1 today!

He has grown so much in the last year and is the joy in our house. He puts a smile on our faces the moment he wakes up in the morning and keeps us giggling all day long.

Brody was born at 12:03am on September 2, it sure was hard to get him here but worth every minute of it. We don't know what we would do without our little man.

Brody is seriously the happiest most content child. Everything makes him smile and he constantly is making himself laugh by the noises he makes to the things that he touches, tastes and sees.

He has always loved to eat and especially loves to eat what mom and dad are having.

Bath time is and always has been his favorite time of day, he screams with excitement the moment we walk in the bathroom. I can hardly get his clothes off before he is climbing over the edge of the tub to get in and splash with his toys.

Brody loves to read. I often find him in his room sitting with a few books that he has pulled off his shelf. He love the pictures and turning the pages all by himself. He cracks up at his books that make sounds. He gets so excited to turn to the next page to hear what other sound is coming.

Brody has been walking now for a few weeks, he is so proud of himself and wants to walk everywhere we go. He claps and is so excited for himself while he walks around the house.

I can't believe how fast 1 year went by, I feel like he should still be my little baby. He is such a big boy and this year has been such a joy for us to watch him grow and see all the new things that he learns everyday. I am excited to see all the many more happy years of growing and learning.

Yesterday Chelsea and I took the kiddos to Cowabunga Bay in Draper. It was a BLAST!!! All the water slides were fun and Brody and I went down most of them, he thought it was really fun and kept laughing while we were going down them. They also have a lazy river that we went on a few times, he loved just laying on mommy in the tube and floating around. If you haven't been here you need to go, such a fun place!!!

The kids played so hard and had such a blast in the sun,

but as soon as we got in the car they all zonked out.

Camping

Last weekend my family went camping and boating at Soldier creek resevoir. It was so beautiful, the camp ground we stayed at was Aspen cove and it lived up to its name. The whole place was covered with Aspen trees and fun little trails that Raegan loved to hike. We all carved our names in the trees and had a blast cooking smores and making yummy food.

Raegan loves little Lulu and brought her with us hiking, she ended up having to carry her because she was having a freak out trying to get back down the trail to her mom. haha Lulu can't be farther than about 1 foot from my mom.

This is our camp spot, we loved it because it had picnic tables, cement and a fire pit, much easier to camp when you are not on top of the dirt every minute.

11 months

Brody is 11 months old.

I can't believe how fast the year went with this little guy by my side. He has changed so much in the last few months and is getting bigger and bigger by the day. I love having him with me every second and miss him while he is sleeping. He makes me smile all day long and is constantly chatting. He is standing by himself and walks really fast while he is holding onto something. I bet it won't be long now until he takes his first few steps alone. Brody boo I love you, Thank you for being my best buddy the last 11 months.

I've been looking at his baby pictures today and trying not to cry, I can't believe its been almost a year since I was holding this little baby boy and smiling from ear to ear with the knowledge that I was finally a mommy. He is my greatest joy and I feel so blessed to have him in my life.

California

We took our first road trip with Mr. Brody Boo

We drove down to see my brother and his family in San Diego and had the best time. We left on Wednesday after Austin got off work and drove to Baker California (if you ever can avoid staying in Baker, do so, it was ghetto and scary)We felt like we possibly could have been murdered in the night. We woke up early on Thursday and drove the rest of the way to sunny and beautiful California. We played in their pool most of the time, but one day we headed for the beach and let Brody play his little heart out in the sand and waves. He LOVED it!!! Ryon and Danie spoiled us with the most yummy food. Thank you guys for letting us come see you, we love you and MISS you so much! My cute boys getting ready to play in the sand.

Every year we go to Grantsville to Celebrate the 4th in Style.

Small town parade, carnival at the park, car show, yummy food, and at night more food, games and fireworks. It is always so much fun.

This year was extra exciting having our little Brody boo to celebrate with, he makes everything more fun. We were nervous he would get scared of the fireworks but he loved them and had his mouth open wide in ahh the whole time. It was so cute!!!

10 months

My little man is no longer a baby, he is turning into such a big boy.

He turned 10 months on July 2.

Brody is crawling all over the place and pulls himself up on EVERYTHING, mom has to be super alert to make sure that nothing falls on top of this handsome guy.

He jibber jabbers all day long and laughs at himself when he thinks he is being funny, which is pretty much all day.

He wants to walk so bad and constently lets go of what he is holding on to, to see if he has good balance yet. When he falls on his bumb he makes this mad grunting sound.

He loves to drink out of a straw, seeing that he thinks he is such a big boy, he wants nothing to do with sippy cups, strait to big boy cups with straws please!

He has 4 bottom teeth and 3 top teeth, all the better to bite with , yikes!!!

He is growing up way too fast.

What a fun experience it is to be his momma and see all the big things he can do.

It is crazy how much a child changes in the first year. He is such a joy to be around and to watch, he is so alert and loves to learn new things. I love how interested he is in the little things, it makes me stop and really appreciate the little things in my life.

Thanks Brody boo for being my sweet as ever baby boy!!

Brody is 9 Months old

He is getting so big, I took him to the doctor yesterday and Dr. Duffy couldn't believe how tall he is. He thinks he is going to be quite the athlete. haha I am pretty sure that since it runs in both sides of the family, he will love sports.

9 things Brody is up to this month
1. Brody boo is crawling all over the house and can go get anything that he wants to look at, feel or stick in his mouth to see if it is something scrumptious to eat.
2. He pulls himself up to a stand on chairs, couch and bed. I often find him awake from his nap holding on to the rails bouncing.
3. Loves to bounce in his bouncer, he is getting a little to stong for it, he will bounce so hard that I am nervous he is going to fall out of it.
4. He smiles all day long and especially loves to smile while people talk to him.
5. Loves to watch sesame street and squeels when elmo is singing, I think he is trying to sing along.

Big things

The last couple of weeks Brody has been doing really big things.

He can stand while holding on to something.

He can even pull himself up on the couch.He is also Army crawling all around the house.

If he sees something he wants,

he drags his little legs all across the floor to go get it.

I guess this means I need to get my house baby proofed,

I am sure little man is going to be getting into everything in no time at all.

I cryed today.

I watched this beautiful video and sobbed.

Chelsea and I took the kids to see the penguins (Raegans favorite) and all the fish at the aquarium. They have the greatest time there and love petting the sting rays. Brody kept getting startled and would jump when the sharks would pass him in their tank. It was so funny!!!! He kept turning around and looking at me with a smile, making sure I was right by him, just in case those scary things got out. haha It was such a fun day!!! Can't wait to go again, especially now that we found out they have story time at noon. yippeee!!!

My little man is getting soooo BIG! I can't believe that he is 8 months, he is such a big boy and loves to let us know that he can do big boy things too.

8 things about Brody right now

1.He has a smile on his face at all moments, we like to say its his perma-smile.

2. He has 3 teeth on the bottom, and hasn't even make a fuss about teething.

3. He loves to sit up like a big boy, no laying down for this little man, that's what babies do. :)

4. He is so strong and will NOT let go of something if he gets his hands on it.

5. He likes to make deep growling sounds, it shows that he is really tough.

6. He loves to eat his baby food, he thinks he is so big.

7. He loves to give me kisses, and he laughs when I say wow wow wow, you are such a good kisser.

8. He lights up when Austin and I go get him in the morning, he kicks and squeels and smiles the biggest I have ever seen. He is thrilled that we are there and we also couldn't be happier to see our little man.

Austin is officialy done with school.

yippee!!!!

Graduation on friday was so special. It was fun seeing him recieve his diploma, and knowing that all his hard work had finally paid off. Good Job Aust!!!

All of the teachers came in with their graduation gowns and lined up on both sides to greet the graduates as they came in.

Brody was lovin the tassel, we could not get him to look at the camera, he just wanted to attack the hat and get the tassel in his mouth.

Fish and Frogs

A couple of weeks ago, my mom, Chelsea, me and the kiddlets went to the

Living Planet Aquarium.

We had so much fun!!! Brody was so excited about all the fish swimming by the glass, he was kicking and screaming with excitement. They also have new penguins there that are absolutely adorable and the kids loved them. I had such a great time that I bought Austin, Brody and I season passes. Love Love Love it!

One of my favorite things

I have fallen in love with bath time with Brody,

he is so fun to watch play with all of his toys and pick up the bubbles and stare at them.

He laughs and giggles and squeezes his fish, life is good for this little man.

Is there anything better than a baby fresh out of the tub?

I love his soft naked skin smelling so yummy. I always give him a little massage with baby lotion, get him in pjs and cuddle him until its time for bed.
Definitely a favorite!

Brody's First Easter

There is a tradition in my family that my mom started, she made all of us Easter baskets that looked like bunnies and now all of us kids have made one for our babies. It is so much fun to see a fun tradition like this continuing. Thanks mom!

I turned 25!!!!

I think this year has been my favorite birthday yet, having my Mr. Brody around makes everything that much more special. Austin Earl spoiled me on friday with great present, who knew he had such great taste;) and on Saturday my family gave me a birthday party that was so beautifully decorated and so fun!!! I even got to wear a crown!

For those of you that don't know, I have two older brothers that I LOVE so very much and lucky for me I love their wife and kids also!!! One brother lives in Herriman, just the neighborhood over from Austin and I, when it is warm we like to walk over to their house and play with Raegan and Wyatt in their backyard. This year is going to be extra fun now that we have our Brody boo to walk over with. :) My other brother lives in California, and not just any part of Cali, he lives in San Diego which he likes to call Paradise...I think I would have to agree with him on that one. I guess that is why it is hard for us to drag them back to Utah for visits, especially when it is 30 degrees outside. But last week we got to have them for a couple of days and we couldn't have been more thrilled to see them. We miss them terribly and wish they lived closer so we could see them at least every other day! :)

This is my brother Ryon and his little man Sawyer(turning 1 on March 21, my birthday I might add, Lucky me to share with such a handsome boy). I am pretty sure that Brody was in aww of all the big boy things Saw can do, he loved to stare at him the whole time he was here.
My parents have a collection of all the kidlets with my dads glasses on. It was only a matter of time that Brody would get his chance. He kept laughing at me when I would talk to him, I think I looked pretty funny to him behind those glasses.

I just have to say that my dad has the magic touch with all the boys in the family. They can be screaming and sad and as soon as my dad holds them they calm right down and fall asleep.

We finally got Brody a big boy car seat, he has been too big for his infant seat for 2 months now, his head and feet were hanging off both ends and his feet were getting scrunched on the seat. I guess it was a little hard for me to accept the fact that he is getting older and needs a bigger seat. My baby is turning into a big boy and loves doing big boy things especially sitting in his BIG BOY seat.

Brody is my darling little man, the one that I get excited to wake up to and the one that makes my whole world seem loveable! He makes me smile just by looking at him, mostly because he always has the biggest cheesiest smile on his face but also because he is mine. He is 6 months old today and as I layed him down for bed tonight I couldn't believe how big my little man was. He is almost sitting up by himself, he loves to say da da da da, he finally learned to like peas, he grunts and squeals and giggles all day, and he still LOVES to bounce at all moments of his life. We went to the doctor today and everything is fabulous, he is growing like a champ.

Brody is 5 months old today!

Which means that I get to share my 5 favorite things.

1. I love that when you concentrate on something in your hand your mouth is always open with your tongue sticking out.

2. I love that you enjoy people talking, you pay very close attention to what they are saying...and then when they see you are looking at them and smile at you, you get embarrassed and hide your face by mine.

3. I love that you are a giggler, you are always so happy and smily, but when you get tickled you giggle really loud.

4. I love that you sleep through the night and you take really good naps during the day. As soon as I lay you in your crib and give you your binky, you go right to sleep. I couldn't ask for a better baby.

5.I love that you want to figure out what everything is by sticking it in your mouth, sometimes you like it and sometimes you make a disgusted look on your face and say uggggg.

I started to read Brody books as soon as I brought him home from the hospital. I want him to have a LOVE of reading the way I do. He stares at the pictures and sometimes does his high pitch squeel of excitement. He seems to be enjoying our time together doing this, and I especially love the chance to snuggle him on my lap and sneek kisses!

My so beautiful of a friend Ashley(single by the way, if anyone knows someone darling, hint hint) took me to the Jazz Game on Saturday night. She always spoils me. It was such a blast!!!! I was shocked by our seats, we flippin sat on the first row behind the hoop. Awesome!!!! I don't really understand basketball or usually really watch it for that matter, but when you sit that close it suddenly becomes interesting.

Thanks Ash!!!! It was sooooooooo fun!

Also, when you sit this close you get to see how ginormous these guys really are.

I knew that they were tall , but seriously, they are TALL.
